Each individual element of the design will have its own section within the manual, alongside protocols for decommissioning and demolition. The O&M Manual serves to ensure not only that everything is up to scratch through the logging of individual characteristics, but also that future contractors have access to detailed descriptions of the building’s design, its architectural principles, and its construction guidelines. The manual contains a register of all equipment used, along with warranties, guarantees, and certifications. It serves as your essential guidebook for maintenance, functional queries, and repairs.
