A Member of IOSH, Mark holds the prestigious NEBOSH qualification but has seen the other side of the fence because he is SMSTS registered too. He has a proven track record of implementing robust safety strategies, advising on CDM (Construction Design and Management) Regulations, and delivering impactful training programmes in-house but to Client and Supplier organisations too. His focussed Health & Safety leadership has resulted in zero RIDDOR incidents on critical projects, underscoring his unwavering commitment to safety excellence.
In his role as SHEQ Manager, Mark oversees all aspects of SHEQ compliance at Ambrey Baker, ensuring every project meets the highest health, safety, environmental and quality standards. Positioned independently of design, commercial or operations, within the Finance and Compliance Team, Mark takes an unbiased and thorough approach to key responsibilities such as CDM compliance, statutory duties under the Building Safety Act, and conducting comprehensive audits. His independent perspective reinforces Ambrey Baker’s dedication to fostering a safe, efficient, and compliant working environment.
