Ambrey Baker Construction Welcomes Mark Kingston as SHEQ Manager
Ambrey Baker Construction is proud to announce the addition of Mark Kingston as our new SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) Manager. Mark joins us with over 15 years of extensive experience across diverse sectors, including high-profile projects such as The Shard, Warner Bros Films, and Lincolnshire County Council. His expertise in fostering proactive safety cultures and ensuring compliance with industry best practices makes him a perfect fit for our team.
Mark holds a BSc (Hons) and is a Graduate Member of IOSH, with certifications such as NEBOSH General Certificate and SMSTS. Over his career, he has excelled in implementing safety strategies, advising on CDM (Construction Design and Management) regulations, and delivering training to foster strong safety cultures. Notably, Mark has achieved zero RIDDOR incidents on critical projects, underscoring his commitment to excellence in safety management.
In his new position, Mark will oversee all aspects of SHEQ compliance, ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of safety and quality. He sits independently within the Finance and Compliance Team to ensure an unbiased, thorough approach to maintaining CDM compliance, delivering awareness training on statutory duties under the Building Safety Act, conducting audits, and ensuring effective reporting and action plans. His independent perspective reinforces our commitment to creating safer, more efficient workspaces.
Mark’s approach to building trust and fostering positive safety practices aligns seamlessly with Ambrey Baker Construction’s values. His focus on collaboration and education ensures that all team members, from senior leaders to site operatives, are well-equipped to prioritise safety. This leadership is critical as we continue to deliver complex, mission-critical projects across food, logistics, and manufacturing sectors.
